Background
Harry has spent over 20 years working directly on fire doors: manufacture, installation, maintenance, and now survey and compliance work, inside a construction career spanning close to four decades. He trained originally as a quantity surveyor, and that discipline runs through everything he does now: reports with realistic costings, findings that are risk-rated rather than just listed, and nothing padded out to look more thorough than it is.
UK Fire Consultancy is led by Harry and supported by a team of associate consultants. Site visits are carried out by Harry or by an operative attending on behalf of UKFC. Each report is prepared and checked by more than one consultant, and nothing is issued to the client until Harry has reviewed and approved it. Remedial work is signed off by Harry in the same way before a job is closed.
He holds BM TRADA Q-Mark certification for both Fire Door Installation and Fire Door Maintenance, is UKAS accredited, and is NAPFIS certified for fire stopping work.
