Who we are

What we collect

When you submit the enquiry form on this site, we collect whatever you enter: your name, email address, phone number (if given), the service you're asking about, and the message itself. We don't collect anything beyond what you choose to submit, and we don't use tracking cookies or analytics on this site at present.

How we use it

Your enquiry is used solely to respond to you, and, if you go on to instruct us, to carry out and administer that work — scoping calls, site visits, reports, invoicing and related correspondence. We don't use your details for marketing, and we don't sell or share them with third parties for their own purposes.

Our legal basis

We process enquiry data on the basis of your consent, given when you tick the consent box on the contact form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services. Where an enquiry becomes a contract for services, further processing is necessary to perform that contract.

Who else sees it

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., and form submissions are processed through Netlify Forms, which stores submitted data on our behalf so we can read and respond to it. Netlify acts as a data processor under our instruction. We don't use any other third-party services to handle enquiry data.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept only for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and, where it becomes a job, for as long as required for that work and our accounting and legal obligations. Data from enquiries that don't proceed is deleted within a reasonable period once it's clear no further action is needed.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email admin@uk-fc.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site does not currently set tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes — for example, if we add analytics to understand site traffic — this policy will be updated to reflect it before any such cookies are set.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we change how the site or contact form works. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
